New pandemic piece

Just finished a new piece of furniture. It is called a Sideboard, Federalist style. Intricate inlay cabinet to keep you fine china and silver in. I really like the way the legs came out and the taper on the bottom with opposite woods. I sectioned the middle drawers with Purple Heart. The knobs are are from Slow Burn in Richmond, Ca. Enjoy!

Pandemic pieces 2020

It has been a tough and challenging year for everyone. I dove into my workshop to keep busy and built some really nice pieces that I am proud of. First piece was two side tables. My wife loved them and said that they remind her of Handel and Gretel, thus the name. Next up was a coffee table. I would have liked the piece to be bigger but generally I am happy with the simple design especially for me. My latest piece is a console table. I like the richness of the piece and have always been fascinated with how beautiful they looked in some of the old Victorians in San Francisco. I tried a new wood that I just love for its richness in patterns and color. It is called Claro Crotch Walnut. I placed a Purple Heart cross in the center which I thought gave it new dimension. Take a look and let me know what you think. They are displayed in “Available Work.” I appreciate and welcome any feedback.

New Stamp by Kelsey Ruggaard

Sold my first piece of furniture in August. Very exciting! This is my new special stamp designed by my friend, Kelsey. The Tim is made up of inlaid wood like my pieces. New furniture displayed at Leona’s at Point Reyes Station, CA!

Feel free to comment on my work if you like and spread the word…Each is original and all finishes are natural, without dyes letting the beauty of the wood bring the magic to each piece.
